A multi-lane timeline mixer that lets you place, stack, and layer audio clips in your browser. Upload up to 20 clips (300 MB combined), position them in time, control volume at the clip, lane, and master level, and export the result as a single file.

How to use it

  1. Click the upload area or drag and drop your audio files (MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AAC, M4A, and most video formats accepted; up to 20 clips, 300 MB combined).
  2. Drag clips left or right on the timeline to reposition them in time; drag up or down to move them between lanes.
  3. Use the per-clip, per-lane, and master volume sliders to balance levels, the final gain for any clip is lane volume × clip volume × master volume.

FAQ

What is the difference between placing clips on the same lane versus different lanes? Clips on the same lane play sequentially, one after another. Clips on different lanes play simultaneously at whatever time positions they occupy. Use multiple lanes to layer audio, like a voiceover on lane 1 and background music on lane 2.

How precisely can I position clips on the timeline? Clips snap to a 0.25-second grid. Use the zoom slider to make short clips easier to position, zooming in gives you more pixels per second to work with.

Can I upload video files to extract the audio? Yes, the tool accepts most common video formats and extracts the audio track automatically.

What happens if I drag a clip to a position that overlaps another clip on the same lane? The tool automatically finds the nearest free spot on that lane or creates a new lane, clips on the same lane cannot overlap.
